We are thrilled to announce that all Visual Interpreters at Aira have undergone specialized PDF editing training to support basic needs across PDF tasks and platforms. Additionally, we have licensed a small group of our interpreters with Adobe Acrobat in order to support more advanced editing needs. These interpreters are available between 6AM and 6PM Pacific time. You can connect with them via the new Call Customization option: Adobe Acrobat.

What all VIs can do (no customization needed):

All of Aira’s Visual Interpreters can support you with basic PDF editing functions, including the following:

  • Fill forms: fill in pre-set fields in a form
  • Sign: add an e-signature (typed, drawn, or uploaded) or digital signature
  • Add text: create text boxes and add text anywhere on a document
  • Add comments/markups: annotate your document with highlights, comments, and more
  • Complete any PDF editing task on your own platform via remote assistance

If your PDF task is any of the above, you do not need to customize your call.

What Adobe Acrobat-licensed VIs can do:

Our limited pool of licensed interpreters can accomplish the following more advanced tasks on their device at your request.

  • Editing existing text inside the PDF: true editing beyond adding text fields
  • Compressing & converting PDFs: changing file formats or resizing the file to fit submission standards
  • Merging & organizing pages: reshaping the document to fit your needs
  • Creating a PDF: building a new PDF from scratch

For these more advanced features, be sure to customize your call with Adobe Acrobat to get connected to one of our licensed VIs between 6am and 6pm Pacific time.

Customizing Your Call

If you have an advanced task involving Adobe Acrobat:

  1. Go to the Home screen on the Aira Explorer mobile or desktop app
  2. Tap on “Customize Your Call”.
  3. Select “Adobe Acrobat” from the list of options
  4. Tap “Make a call” at the bottom of the page.

This is the best way to get connected instantly with the right Visual Interpreter when you have a task that requires certain skills or tools.
