Access for All: Morgan’s Brings Aira Explorer for Blind/Low Vision and Aira ASL for Deaf/Hard of Hearing
For decades, Morgan’s has been a movement of inclusion. With over 150 million dollars in assets, 150+ acres of land, and over 300 employees, Morgan’s is the umbrella organization that oversees and supports six Ultra-Accessible™, fully-inclusive entities. They support endeavors where individuals of all ages and abilities can come together for a better understanding of one another. From pioneering amusement parks and boutique hotel concepts to reimagining community spaces, Morgan’s has consistently pushed boundaries in what inclusion can mean. Morgan’s is expanding its commitment to inclusion by bringing advanced accessibility services to all of its entities for both employees and guests who are blind, low vision, Deaf or hard of hearing.
“Accessibility is about removing barriers and ensuring independence for everyone. By offering Aira Explorer at all of Morgan’s entities, individuals who are blind or low vision can engage fully with their surroundings and have the confidence to explore freely,” said Everette Bacon, Chief of Blindness Initiatives at Aira.
“Communication equity is essential. Aira ASL ensures that Deaf and hard of hearing individuals can access the same opportunities and experiences without barriers. Morgan’s adoption of this technology underscores their commitment to inclusion,” said Henri Grau, Director of Deaf Community Engagement at Aira.
“At Morgan’s, breaking barriers is at the heart of what we do. Partnering with Aira allows us to better serve guests who are blind, have low vision, or use ASL, creating a more inclusive experience for everyone,” said Sharon Newhardt, Director of Inclusion and Culture at Morgan’s.
